ASICS GEL-Kayano 19 GS Kids Running Shoes - Lightweight Athletic Sneakers for Boys & Girls - Perfect for School, Sports & Daily Wear

I purchased these in a 4.5 and they are a bit big for my women's size 5 foot. I should have gone with the 4 but with an insole and thicker sock these are perfection. They are exactly like the women's version and offer the same great quality that asics always provides, only a fraction of the price! If you an adult who is fortunate enough to be able to buy kids shoes for yourself, this is a great option. My mother who is a size 7.5 women's owns the exact same pair and there is no difference other than the size and the price tag. I've been an active runner for the past year and a half and already been wearing these shoes for the past week. They are amazing and a great value. FYI, the women's version is upwards of $140, depending on where you purchase them.My only complaint is that this model only comes in this one color and style. I wish there were more options for Big Kid's like there are for women. However, it is something I will gladly overlook seeing how much money I was able to save by purchasing these instead of the adult version.My daughter and I found these on Amazon last spring when we were searching for new shoes in size 3 for her. She fell in love with these but the price was way too high for dad to give the green light for. So she found another pair at the time and we put these on the wish list. Then at the end of November when she needed shoes again I clicked on these on the save for later list on Amazon and found that the size she needed. (now a 4.5) was on sale for the perfect price our family was looking to spend on new shoes. So thus we got a greater quality pair of shoes, possibly a season behind but we don't care, for the price of the more value quality shoe. We love Amazon.She has been wearing the shoe for around a month now non-stop and has no complaints. She loves them. Great for Gym. Great cushion for young runners. Great quality construction.I am always a fan of asics. The comfort level is excellent and great for just walking, running, or any type of exercise. I like to use these shoes at the gym and when running. They have never bothered me or gotten in the way. They provide excellent support and are lovely to look at. I have used these shoes daily for almost a year and they are still not worn out. The heel and ankle support is very sturdy and stiff so good for jumping and training. The bottom soles are super thick and provide about a 1 inch 3/4 lift for better heel-toe movement. The neon yellow is great for running in the dark. I bought these for cheaper in a kids size. I am originally a size 7 in womens. In the kid's size I am 5.5I own this shoe in adult 6.5, and it fits wonderfully. It has excellent support, and walking just flat out feels better with this model than with any other shoe I've tried on.I ordered this shoe in a size 4.5, which should correspond to the adult 6.5, but it was too tight on my larger foot. I found that it didn't seem as cushy as the adult version. I am unsure if this is because I tried it on in a size that was too small, or if it is genuinely lower quality than the adult version. I sent it back because of how ill fitting it was.The shoe was ordered for the rear AND forefoot gel padding. The lining on the inside is rough and rubs as well as the out side stiches. My daughter has neo asics and they are incredible. The padding is satin smooth and you can feel the gel and her foot imprint. I cant feel the gel in the fore foot of these. Not loving these at all. The fit is true to size and perfect. If the materials inside the shoe weren't so rough it would be better. If I hadn't worn them to work, I would have returned them (seldom do that).Asics shoes fit great for my daughter for running and does not hurt her feet. The one thing they could do better is bring the cost down. We get one season at the most so year round we are buying 4 pair along with spikes and it gets expensive.I tried this exact shoe on in the store. I love it. It cost $150.00. The 6.5 fit perfectly, it's the size I wear in all running shoes. I went home and ordered this shoe at Amazon because it was only $90.00. It is the exact shoe I tried on in the store. I got the shoe, it was huge. It looks huge and it fits like a whole size larger. I sent it back. Just got another pair today, same thing. The shoe is huge next to my 6.5 size shoes. I asked friends and family what they thought. They all said the shoe looks like a size 7.5 not a 6.5. I am so disappointed because this shoe fit me perfectly in the store, and I have such a hard time finding just the right fit.These sneakers are exactly what I expected! I have always worn kids sneakers as I have a small foot. I run a lot, and just recovered from a torn calf muscle, so comfort was a very important piece while searching for sneakers. These are very comfortable, the colors look great. I loved them even more in person!I love these shoes...comfortable like all the kayano range...i will continue buying them...hopefully lots more colours to follow from asics.
